The IRL Challenge — Waitlist
The IRL Challenge: a 4-week accelerator to launching a pop-up series that makes real money.
Seven pop-ups, three cities, ten months. My husband and I built one repeatable system for filling a room and selling it out, and I'm teaching all of it.
$175 for the waitlist · $225 at open · 4 weeks · starts Oct 12

Merchandise sold across seven pop-ups we threw in NYC, Miami and Detroit, Nov 2025 to Aug 2026. $613K of it ours; $95K our vendors', in rooms we filled.
What one afternoon looks like
This is a single Saturday in January. We rented a hotel lobby, promoted it for three weeks, and opened the doors at noon.
January 31, 2026. $124,665 in gross sales, nearly all of it between noon and 5pm. Shopify POS; some sales excluded.
"But this only works because you sell vintage"
It doesn't. The pop-ups are one format. I've also run free events, ticketed events, panels and markets, and the system underneath every one of them is the same: build the list, fill the room, sell the room.
Thx It's Thrifted Day to Night is a completely different model. 2,500 tickets sold, 70+ vendors, live bands and a DJ. None of that revenue came off my own racks.
If you have something to sell, the room sells it. If you don't, the room is the product.
What you'll build
Four weeks, one system. You leave with a pop-up on the calendar and an RSVP list that actually shows up.
- The RSVP engine: how we fill a room before we've booked it
- Finding and negotiating the space... hotel suites, showrooms, empty retail
- The pre-event content sequence that turns followers into attendees
- Running the room: pricing, checkout, and what to do in the slow hour
- The follow-up that makes the next city easier than the last
What comes with it
- Weekly live calls, plus a pre-recorded curriculum you keep
- Out-of-the-box content templates, so you're never staring at a blank Canva
- The tool stack I actually use, including Posh and Canva, plus an intro to my contact at Posh
- A community of other event hosts to trade venues, vendors and notes with
- A permanent alumni space once the four weeks are done
Who's teaching this
I'm Nik. I'm the mastermind behind Thx It's Thrifted Day to Night markets and Seven Moods vintage pop-ups. My husband Fred and I run Seven Moods with two employees and my brother-in-law. Before this I was a user researcher at Google, which is mostly why I count everything.
We didn't set out to build a pop-up business. We threw one, looked at the numbers at the end of the year, and realized a single afternoon had been more than a tenth of our annual sales. So we did it again, in cities where we knew nobody, and it kept working.
